Witherlea Kitchen

Winner of the NZ Master Joiner ‘Best Kitchen Award’ 2014.

Client Brief:

  • Renovate 1930’s villa to include a modern, industrial style functional kitchen with an eye for entertaining.

Design Included:

  • Stainless Steel.
  • Exposed light fittings.
  • Dark Oak veneer.

An award winning kitchen.

The modern, industrial look in this kitchen was created using stainless steel, exposed light fittings and dark oak veneer.

The client had a strong idea of what they wanted, and a major part of this job was to keep the aesthetic and design a functional kitchen to meet their needs and cooking requirements.

The island workspace was to be both functional as a work surface as well as an area for entertaining. This was designed by running a length of oak flush with the stainless steel workbench, creating a distinct workspace and separate bar area.
