Turning their large, dark, G-shaped kitchen into a very light bright area was at the top of the list for these clients for their renovation. Walls were altered to add sliding doors and the kitchen was significantly reduced in size and relocated to create indoor outdoor flow through to an open plan kitchen and dining area.
The client requested the kitchen have a lot of stone detailing and her love for tongue and groove cabinetry had to be incorporated. It was essential for the thickened benchtop to be the key feature in the new kitchen.
To achieve this look, lacquered cabinetry with tongue and groove detailing combined with Frosty Carina Caesarstone to the benchtops and splashback gave the kitchen a light, fresh, sleek style.
