Tussock Place Kitchen

For this project the client wanted a fresh modern kitchen with ample storage, functional work spaces, and contrasting materials and textures to add interest.

Pairing a crisp benchtop and off-white cabinetry with a striking black granite sink provided a stunning contrast, while colour matching the client’s pendant light fixtures with the fresh mint glass splash back added an element of fun. The colour blocking was extended across the full wall to add impact and continuity and also flows into the side wall in the pantry as an added element of surprise.

To offset this and balance the pendant light placement, 3 panels in the same colouring as the toe kicks were added to the front of the peninsular to add interest and texture, also tying the kitchen into the adjacent open plan living space.
